Exporting to Illustrator

Views exported to Illustrator with layers that survive the trip.

  1. Go to File → Export → CAD Formats (DWG).
  2. Export views as vector drawings.
  3. Open DWG in Illustrator:
    • Each Revit category appears as a layer.
  4. Line weights and colors are preserved.
  5. Recommended only for final graphic polishing.
