Creating Perspective Sections and Adjusting Camera Lens

Perspective sections with a camera lens you control.

  1. In Plan, place a camera: View → 3D View → Camera.
  2. Open the resulting 3D camera view.
  3. Ensure the view is in Perspective.
  4. Use Orient to View → Section to create a perspective section.
  5. Adjust the Section Box to control cut depth.
  6. Clean the view with VV/VG and Graphic Display Options.
  7. Adjust Focal Length in the Navigation Wheel settings:
    • Higher focal length = flatter.
    • Lower focal length = more dramatic.
  8. Save + rename the view and add to sheets as needed.

Note:
Perspective sections are ideal for spatial explanation and system coordination.
