Creating Perspective Sections and Adjusting Camera Lens
Perspective sections with a camera lens you control.
- In Plan, place a camera: View → 3D View → Camera.
- Open the resulting 3D camera view.
- Ensure the view is in Perspective.
- Use Orient to View → Section to create a perspective section.
- Adjust the Section Box to control cut depth.
- Clean the view with VV/VG and Graphic Display Options.
- Adjust Focal Length in the Navigation Wheel settings:
- Higher focal length = flatter.
- Lower focal length = more dramatic.
- Save + rename the view and add to sheets as needed.
Note:
Perspective sections are ideal for spatial explanation and system coordination.
