Remove/Control Door Clearance Volumes in 3D While Keeping 2D Swing

1. If a door family contains a 3D “clearance zone” (often red) that you don’t want in views:
   1. Select the clearance volume in Edit Family.
   2. Open Visibility/Graphics settings for that element.
2. Control where it appears:
   • Disable visibility in Coarse/Medium/Fine as required.
   • Option: keep it only in a single detail level if useful for coordination.
3. If the clearance volume is unnecessary:
   • You may delete it, but ensure the 2D swing representation still exists (don’t remove required plan symbolics).
4. If you add 2D swing lines manually inside the family:
   1. Draw Model Lines or Symbolic Lines (preferred for 2D).
   2. Set their Visibility so they show only in plan (and at the correct detail level).
5. If new lines float unconnected:
   • Use Align (AL) and Lock to reference planes so the swing scales/moves with the door.
