Model Showroom

Stage a model, then send a client a link.

Open a 3D model and stage it like a product shot: one-tap Looks set sky, sun and colour together, a draggable sun dial aims the light, and any surface can be recoloured or swapped. Walk through it, draw a plan, snapshot a view, or publish a private link a client can open on any device. The model stays in your browser until you publish.

How it works

The model is loaded and lit entirely in your browser, so the free viewer costs nothing and the file never leaves the machine. Publishing a link is the one step that stores the model and its scene, so a client can open it without an account.

  • The model is read in the browser and never uploaded while you are staging it.
  • A Look sets sky, sun, colour and floor as one coherent state you can then adjust.
  • A ground click resolves to a plan cut at the height you choose.
  • Publishing stores the model and its scene so a link can open it on any device.

Using it

Open a model

Drop a .glb, glTF, .3dm, .obj, .fbx or .ifc on the start panel, or use Replace to swap it later.

Choose a Look

The Looks panel sets sky, sun, colour and floor together in one tap; fine-tune anything in Settings.

Move the sun

Open Sun & time for the draggable dial and time-of-day presets, or switch to a studio environment in Settings.

Restyle a surface

Click any surface to open the material menu, pick a preset or colour, or use the Library to swap furniture.

Frame and keep views

Use the camera presets, Fit model and Turntable, then Save this angle to reuse a view.

Walk, snap, plan or share

Switch to Walk to move through the model, Snap for a PNG, Plan for an SVG/PNG/DXF drawing, or Share for a private link.

What to trust it for

  • Presenting a model to a client without a render machine.
  • Trying lighting and material directions in minutes.
  • Sending an interactive link instead of a static image.
  • Getting a scaled plan drawing out of a model.

What not to use it for

  • Photoreal final renders or a substitute for a renderer.
  • Production BIM work — this is a presentation surface.
  • Accurate material specifications.

Known limits

  • A published link carries the model and scene you set, not your local model library.
  • Quality adapts to the machine's graphics; pin it in Settings.
  • The plan is a schematic cut, not a construction drawing.

Tips

  • Do — Pick a Look first — it sets a coherent starting point you can then adjust.
  • Avoid — Expecting a published link to carry locally-imported objects — those revert to the original geometry.
